1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Daily Weight distributed on Google Play (the “App”), published by DexoCode Technologies (“Developer”, “we”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to this policy.
The App is provided free of charge for personal use. We do not monetize the App with ads or by selling user data.
2. Information processed by the App
The App processes the following information locally on your device:
- Health & fitness data (weight) — values you log, with date and time
- App preferences — unit (kg/lbs) and display settings (e.g. graph on/off)
This information is saved in a local database on your phone or tablet. We do not transmit your weight entries or settings to our servers. We do not create user accounts for the App.
3. Data collection, use, and sharing (Google Play)
The table below describes how data is handled for Google Play’s transparency requirements:

User-initiated sharing: If you use Export or Share, you choose where files go (e.g. email, Drive). We do not receive that data; third-party services you select have their own policies.
4. Permissions and device access
The App may request or use platform features only when needed:
- Storage / files — to import or export JSON backup files you select
- Internet — optional: loading typography (Google Fonts) and opening our website in your browser when you tap “Visit Website”
We do not access your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or precise location.
5. Third-party services
- Google Fonts — may download font files from Google when the App needs them. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play — distribution and updates are provided by Google. See Google Privacy Policy.
- System dialogs — share sheets and file pickers are provided by your device; we only see files you explicitly choose.
Optional link to www.dexocode.com does not send your weight data. Normal website logs may apply on our site.
6. Data retention and deletion
- Data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
- Clear all data in Settings removes all weight entries.
- Uninstalling the App deletes the local database from your device.
- We cannot restore data after deletion because we do not store copies on our servers.
7. Security
Your data is protected by your device’s operating system. Use a screen lock (PIN, password, or biometrics) and keep Android updated. You are responsible for backups you export to other apps or storage.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and uninstall the App from the device.
9. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding personal data. Because data stays on your device and we do not hold it on our servers, you can exercise most controls directly in the App (view, export, delete). For questions, contact us using the details below.
10. International users
The App is available globally on Google Play. Data you enter remains on your device in your country unless you export it elsewhere yourself.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect App or legal changes. The effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected in this document; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
